"La mode aux trousses", Chroniques de mode Libération 1982-1995 - Farid Chenoune

The Azzedine Alaïa Foundation and Modes Pratiques Éditions are pleased to welcome Gérard Lefort, former colleague and friend of Farid Chenoune at the newspaper Libération and author of the book's afterword, to discuss the author's work and legacy.

Farid Chenoune joined Libération in 1982 and wrote fashion columns for fifteen years. Through his articles, we can follow the rise of newcomers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Rei Kawakubo, Marithé and François Girbaud, Sonia Rykiel, Daniel Hechter, Paco Rabanne... as well as designers and brands that defined an era, including Popy Moreni, Anne-Marie Beretta, Dik Brandsma, Pierre d'Alby, Pierre Aujard, Torrente, Serge Ulliel, Enrico Coveri, Façonnable, Charles Le Golf, Christian du Gardin, Brookfield, Neri del Ponte, and Bonsoir of London.

"La Mode aux trousses" brings together its literary and offbeat fashion columns, offering an incisive and liberated perspective on fashion and its era.

La conversation sera animée par le philosophe Emanuele Coccia.
