Méchantes blessures is a novel that, with poetry, analyses the dream of making people of a certain French youth in love with culture and from the suburbs and immigration.
What if our life was only the result of a succession of trauma ? What if everything that is true for a being is also true for a city, a country or a continent ? Then the different wounds that exist inflict on individuals would be similar to the crises that nations have known all the time.
Kamil is not only an aesthetic, Muslim and black rapper with Congolese roots, born in Strasbourg and murdered in Washington, in broad daylight, in the parking lot of a strip club, he is also the embodiment of a certain idea of French genius.Nasty wounds tell the story of the life and death of this 21st century Frenchman.

In this subtly woven narrative, between black novel, philosophical and spiritual tale, Abd Al Malik impregnates the spirit durably and transmits through his writing his vision of a common future.
