In collaboration with the Groninger Museum, the fashion museum of Hasselt in Belgium paid tribute to Azzedine Alaïa through an exhibition showcasing his work and his creative talent.

As an admired figure in the fashion world, Azzedine Alaïa has created dresses for stars such as Naomi Campbell, Grace Jones, Madonna, and Tina Turner. The exhibited pieces illustrate his method of using diverse materials such as leather and lace in his creations as well as his innovative work in knitwear.

This colorful and fascinating exhibition showcased several of the designer’s creations alongside works by renowned artists whom he respected and who were a constant source of inspiration for him.
