The exhibition, co-organized with The Cinémathèque Française presents a creative exchange of fashion and cinema from the perspective of Gaultier and delves into the context of creating costumes for films, emphasizing Key aspects such as female empowerment and its reflection in fashion and in the filmography of the 20th century. There are more than 100 pieces of clothing that are shown in nearly 70 "looks", fragments of more 90 films and 125 graphic representations between originals and reproductions.
« Cine y moda » brings together works by such designers as Azzedine Alaïa, Balenciaga, Pierre Cardin, Coco Chanel and costumes used by cinema icons such as Catherine Deneuve, Grace Jones, Grace Kelly, Madonna or Sharon Stone.
