The time of a dinner, the Azzedine Alaïa gallery was transformed into a cabaret, its walls covered with posters and cardboard boxes stacked to the ceiling and stamped with "MR2 Fucking Entertainment" in bright red  lettering. This performance by Californian artist Mike Bouchet (born 1970) was conceived specifically for the Galerie, and featured a conceived Parisian cabaret as a sequel to Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge released in 2001. 

Since the beginning of the 1990s, the artist has multiplied references to the icons of consumer society and entertainment by using approaches as diverse as painting, sculpture, installations, performance and video.
