Christian Dior

1905-1957

SELECTION

Christian Dior founded his house in 1947 directly after the end of the Second World War. He created a feminine, elegant and graceful silhouette. From his very first collection, he revolutionised the fashion world with his famous corolla dress. Ample skirts, fitted waists, round shoulders - he invented the "New Look".
