Petits arrangements immerses us into the collector's eye of its author, somewhere between an essay and an artist's book.

Sandrine Tinturier recounts the practice of photography in the twentieth century, with women and children mostly in front of the lens, men mostly behind it, landscapes that are repeated and failures that no longer exist.

Les petits arrangements is a collection of found and second-hand photos, isolated fragments of past and forgotten lives that Sandrine Tinturier assembles without scissors or glue, in search of the junction point.

" Fascinated by capturing that fraction of a second when each person makes their own cinema in front of the lens, I select, sort, weigh, wonder and marvel". Sandrine Tinturier

Will be present:

Maud Bachotet, who founded the publishing house "Sous les gravats" with the author. Petits Arrangements is the first book in the "L'anamnèse" series.

Lee Shulman, the English artist and collector behind  "The Anonymous Project", the world's largest collection of slides.
